Employer University is a program to educate employers about recruitment best practices and how to recruit the right candidates. This program offers employers the opportunity to gain knowledge about how to successfully recruit at the University of Florida.

Below is our list of webinars for the fall 2013 semester. Click on the links to register in order to secure your spot. You may sign up for as many as you’d like. Please note that webinars are limited to 25 participants and slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tuesday, Oct. 22, 11 a.m.  – Help! I Need an Intern… Yesterday

  • This webinar will educate employers about the legal considerations and requirements involved when an organization has an internship program

Tuesday, Oct. 29, 3 p.m. – Recruiting Tips for Small Businesses & Start-ups

  • The goal of this webinar is to teach smaller business and startups best recruiting practices in general and on the University of Florida campus

Thursday, Nov. 7, 3 p.m. – Sharing Your Company Culture =’s Getting the Right Candidates

  • This webinar will show your recruiters the best way to position your organization on campus and how to portray the right company image to students in order to recruit the right candidates

Thursday, Nov. 14, 11 a.m. – Diversifying your Candidate Pool

  • This presentation will review what diversity looks like at the University of Florida and share ways to increase your organization’s presence amongst diverse student populations. The Career Resource Center offers employers many collaborative opportunities to develop their diversity outreach plans and tips to find the best candidates for your organization across all demographics and budgets.
