Gainesville chamber to take regional concerns to D.C. in april

 

The Gainesville Chamber will visit Washington D.C. on April 10 and 11 to represent the issues and concerns affecting the Gainesville region during a series of meetings with policymakers and other stakeholders.

“Ensuring our concerns and issues are being heard on a national level better enables the Gainesville region to become a global hub for talent, innovation, and opportunity,” said Tim Giuliani, President & CEO of the Gainesville Area Chamber. “These meetings will allow us the opportunity to share our concerns and legislative agenda for consideration going forward to grow our region’s economy.”

Last month, Gainesville Chamber leaders were in Tallahassee participating in Capitol Days, representing business community concerns on a state level, meeting with state legislators.
