Voting Underway for City’s Next Mayor

Early voting for Gainesville city elections is underway at the Supervisor of Elections Office in the County Administration Building, located at 12 SE First St. On March 19, the official election day, polling stations will be open across the city for residents to cast their vote for mayor.

Six candidates are vying for the position of mayor, including Ed Braddy, Scherwin Henry, Pete Johnson, Donald Shepard Sr., Mark Venzke and the incumbent, Craig Lowe, who is seeking a second term.
