Locally-owned Momentum Dance Arts will soon be joining Tioga Town Center, and will offer all styles of dance classes for all ages, from children to adults. Their new 1,786 square foot space will be located at 133 SW 130th Way, Suite D, Newberry, FL 32669.
Striving “to build confidence, discipline, and appreciation for the arts, one dancer at a time,” Founder and Owner Jamie Perez is, herself, a lifelong dancer who also believes “dance is passion.” Jamie has been teaching for nearly 20 years, and has created a loyal following since opening Momentum Dance Art’s first Studio in Alachua in 2016. Since then, they’ve continued on their mission to create a nurturing, judgement-free environment where people of all skill-levels can enjoy the art of dance.
Momentum Dance Arts aims to foster a lifetime of love for dance and fitness for everyone. The new Tioga Town Center location will offer a variety of dance genres for children as young as two years of age. The new Dance Studio will be equipped with a professional sprung dance floor, tumbling equipment, a state-of-the-art sound system, ample mirrors, Ballet barres, and more. Their new location aims to provide the perfect environment to focus on the development of the whole child with a focus on their health, flexibility, and grace all through dance.

Momentum Dance Arts will be open Monday through Thursday afternoons and evenings to start. Classes range from 30-minute sessions to an hour. Styles of dance will include, but aren’t limited to Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics/Tumbling, Theatre, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballet, in addition to Creative Movement & Tiny Tot classes for ages 3-5 year old.
