Ryan Lochte Partners with Yogurtology for Charity

Eleven-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte will debut two new Yogurtology flavors for charity on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Proceeds from the flavor launch will benefit Lochte’s personal charities (Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy and the Mac Crutchfield Foundation). Yogurtology has pledged to donate $20,000 to Ryan’s charities, with the expressed intention to raise even more.

“Community is at the heart of the Yogurtology brand,” said Jaclyn Levy, Director of the Florida Stores for Yogurtology. “With Ryan Lochte, we saw the opportunity to really make an impact in not only the Gainesville community, but that of his charities.”

Lochte will participate in a one-day event in Gainesville, interacting with customers and surprising Gainesville locals with his yogurt flavors. “Lochte Lemon Drop” will be exclusive to Gainesville Until Oct. 5 when it switches to Champion Chocolate Fudge Brownie, the second of Lochte’s exclusive flavors. All other Yogurtology stores will launch the campaign on Sept. 28 with Champion Chocolate Fudge Brownie. The Ryan Lochte Exclusive Flavors will be available for a limited six-month time period.

“I’m proud to partner with a brand that not only values giving back, but rewards giving back,” said Lochte. “It’s cool to know that anyone near a Yogurtology location can help PPMD and the Mac Crutchfield Foundation just by eating frozen yogurt.”
