Office of Equity and Inclusion presents Business Matchmaker event

The City of Gainesville is hosting a Business Matchmaker event with community procurement partners to connect local businesses with area procurement and small business resource representatives. The event will help business owners and managers learn about governmental contracting opportunities and about doing business with participating groups.

When: Friday, Oct. 21, 2-5 p.m.

Where: Blount Center at Santa Fe College, 401 NW Sixth St.

The event enables attendees to network with contractors and fellow business owners, as well as connect with small business resource providers within the community.

Event partners include the University of Florida’s Small Business & Supplier Diversity Department, and Physical Plant Division, the Alachua County Procurement Department, Gainesville Regional Utilities and General Government Procurement divisions, and the Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce. Representatives from the Small Business Development Center will be guests for the panel discussion regarding doing business with their organizations.

This event is free and open to the public. Advanced registration is recommended but not required to participate. Register through this Eventbrite link.
