CHW Professional Consultants, a leading planning, surveying, engineering, landscape architecture, and construction services firm has announced several promotions from within their organization.

Ryan Thompson, AICP has been promoted to the position of Senior Project Manager in the Land Planning + Design Department. Mr. Thompson has served as a professional planner at CHW for more than 11 years. He has experience in Planning, GIS, Public Engagement, and Management in aspects of land development, for both public and private planning + design projects. He has a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning, and a B.S., Bachelor of Science in Food and Resource Economics, both from the University of Florida. He is also an active member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, Rotary Club of Gainesville, and is a past member of the Leadership Gainesville, Class of 41.

Mitchell Mason, PE has been promoted to the position of Project Manager in the Land Development Engineering Department. Mr. Mason, who previously served the department as Project Engineer for the past four years, has gained knowledge and experience in Land Development, Stormwater Management, Utility Systems, and Permitting. He has been instrumental in many projects from multi-family residential development to the exciting UF Baseball Stadium. Mitchell has a B.S. in Agriculture and Biological Engineering from the University of Florida and in his new role as Project Manager, he will drive both public and private projects from concept to construction and to help CHW and our clients improve the infrastructure in our communities.

Because of this, he has become one of the go-to persons in the Land Development Department. Greg Trotter, PE has been promoted to the position of Project Manager for the Transportation Engineering Department. Mr. Trotter has a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Mississippi State University, with over nine years of civil engineering experience. Greg has contributed his skillsets in water use permitting through his time spent working for SRWMD into his roadway, drainage, transportation, and pavement design throughout Northcentral and the Big Bend area of Florida. As Project Manager, Greg will manage transportation projects from concept to construction and serve as a client advocate to support the communities where we work and live.
