LifeSouth Community Blood Centers has announced the opening of their new Jonesville donor center.
From Tuesday, August 17 through Saturday, August 21, all donors at the Jonesville center will receive two tickets to the opening Gator football game against FAU on September 3 (while supplies last).
Located at 14266 West Newberry Road in the Steeplechase Shopping Center, the center is open Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Donors are always welcome to walk-in and give or visit lifesouth.org or call 1-800-795-2707 to schedule an appointment to donate. All blood donors will receive a recognition item and cholesterol screening. Blood donors must be at least 17 (16 with parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. A photo ID is also required.
LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood center serving hospitals in Alabama, Georgia and Florida.
