JVC Media launches True Oldies Y100 to North Central Florida Radio

JVC Media of Florida, one of the leading independent and locally owned radio broadcasters in the country, has announced it will be bringing the biggest hits of the 60’s and 70’s back to North Central Florida radio with the launch of True Oldies Y100.1 (WXUS-HD2).  

The new True Oldies Y100.1 will introduce itself to Ocala, The Villages, and the surrounding area with The Best of the 60’s and 70’s – completely commercial-free.

“True Oldies Y100.1 is the perfect radio station for the Ocala and The Villages area.  We custom designed the radio station to play the artists that we grew up LOVING like Elvis, The Beatles, Elton John, The Rolling Stones… it’s the best music of all time, and together with legendary DJs like Scott Shannon and our local guys it’s what made radio great growing up in the 60’s & 70’s” said Charlie Lombardo, JVC Media’s Senior Vice President of Programming.
