Infotech®, a leader in infrastructure construction software solutions and expert statistical and econometric consulting services, has announced Florida Trend has ranked it the No. 21 Large Company and No. 9 among those headquartered in Florida in the Best Companies To Work For program. This is the second year in a row Infotech has received the No. 21 overall ranking.
Florida Trend annually ranks the top 100 companies in small, medium and large employer categories. Infotech was ranked among the large employer category, which includes companies with more than 250 employees. To be considered as a possible Best Company, companies underwent a detailed evaluation of workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The process also included a survey to measure employee satisfaction, and the combined scores determined the final rankings.
“To be named a top 25 company in our state is a big accomplishment — but to have achieved it in the hardest, most challenging year physically and mentally is something we are extremely proud of,” Will McClave, Infotech Systems President, said. “We say it all the time, but it’s worth repeating: when you treat people right, the rest will follow. That is the exact principle that got us through a year like 2020.”
Since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020, Infotech has continued to invest in its people and products, hiring more than 80 new employees during a 15-month season with a remote workforce. To prioritize health and safety, the company transitioned its employees to a remote workforce in March 2020 and reopened its LEED Gold-certified headquarters on an optional basis in July 2021. Today, the company offers a hybrid work environment to its 360 employees.
“When faced with challenges these [Best] Companies didn’t flinch,” David Denor, Florida Trend Publisher, said. “They pivoted when needed, shifted working conditions as necessary, maintained employee morale, provided safe working environments and continued to drive business opportunities. They got it done…even during the toughest of times. These Best Companies provide inspiration and lessons we can all learn from.”
With hybrid work opportunities, a remarkably generous profit sharing program, an average tenure over 8 years, and a genuine commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, Infotech is proud to be named the No. 21 Best Large Company to Work for in Florida.
“We all know the last year wasn’t easy, but we made a promise to our people — employees and clients alike — that we would continue to move forward together, as Infotech always does, even if we could not articulate exactly what was going to happen during the most unpredictable of years,” Jamie McClave Baldwin, Infotech Consulting President, said. “We made decisions that allowed us to continually adapt and become a stronger company. And, we’ll continue to move forward together in the exact way a Best Company should — prioritizing what matters most, the well-being of our people.”
Infotech congratulates all of the outstanding companies recognized as a 2021 Best Company. For a list of the 100 Best Companies To Work For In Florida and more about this program, visit www.FloridaTrend.com/BestCompanies.
