FloridaOpenGov.org Provides Access to Spending Records

In an effort to supply transparency to Florida taxpayers, the Foundation for Government Accountability recently unveiled FloridaOpenGov.org, a website that lets visitors browse records of about $1.4 trillion of state spending and payroll.

The website features a database that includes state and county government payroll, local public education payroll, local government spending and state vendor payments. The database is searchable by fields such as agency, employee name and municipality.
