40 Years of Impact: Pioneering Justice and Protecting Civil Rights

October 21, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us in a celebration of Southern Legal Counsel’s 40 Years of Impact. We are delighted that Morris Dees, pioneering civil rights lawyer and co-founder of Southern Poverty Law Center, will be the keynote speaker. Known for innovative lawsuits that crippled some of America’s most notorious white supremacist hate groups, Dees was named one of the 100 most influential lawyers in America by the National Law Journal in 2006. He will speak about the importance of public interest law firms, like Southern Legal Counsel, that focus on impact litigation.
