Dimensional Innovations Expands into Florida

Dimensional Innovations, an experience design, build, and technology firm headquartered in Overland Park, Kan., is opening two new Florida offices, one of which will focus on its partnership with The University of Florida in Gainesville, helping bring master facilities planning to the school.

Doug Hancock, a 25-year industry veteran, joins Dimensional Innovations as Project Manager and will be dedicated to overseeing projects for The University of Florida/University Athletic Association (UAA). In this newly created position, Hancock and his team will work alongside the university to ensure consistency in campus wayfinding, signage, and specialty graphics throughout all facilities and shared spaces.

Hancock previously owned and operated Sign Pro of North Florida. He holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Flagler College and resides in Alachua, Fl.

“Competition for athletes and students at top universities is rapidly increasing,” stated Hancock, “Dimensional Innovations will help administrators develop a top-notch master facility plan and provide a consistent look and feel across campus. So whether you’re a top football recruit, a fan, or alumni, every touchpoint on the campus feels like the University of Florida.”

Part of Dimensional Innovation’s commitment is a new signage and fabrication production facility in Alachua, just 20 minutes from the University of Florida’s campus.

Also joining Dimensional Innovations’ Florida team, Frank Davi has been hired as Account Director and will be in charge of sales and business development for the entire Florida region, focused on clients in the entertainment, corporate, cultural, and healthcare industries.

Davi brings more than 20 years of experience in the fields of design, marketing, and project development for high-end architectural and construction projects including work with the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Dell Computers, and British Petroleum. With a Master of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute, he offers clients a creative and unique viewpoint. Davi will be based in the Orlando area.

Dimensional Innovations currently employees nearly 300 people and has been named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies for the past five years. The expansion into Florida marks the company’s sixth location, with offices in Atlanta, Denver, Florida, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, and the company headquarters in Overland Park, Kan., a suburb of Kansas City.
