City Hall, Thomas Center B Open on Fridays

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Effective Friday, Oct. 2, access to city services at City Hall and Thomas Center B will expand with Friday. Core hours for city administrative services will continue to be Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m.-6 p.m.

Services available at City Hall include, but are not limited to, filling out employment applications or submitting related employment documents, completing equal opportunity complaints, paying parking tickets, obtaining business permits, purchasing parking decals and more.

Effective Oct. 2, expanded hours for City Hall and Thomas Center B are:

Mon.-Thurs., 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Thomas Center B
Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs

306 NE Sixth Ave.
Mon.-Thurs., 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
Friday, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
Thomas Center B
Planning & Development Services

306 NE Sixth Ave.
Mon.-Thurs., 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
Friday, 7 a.m.-4 p.m.

Other city offices will maintain their existing hours, and field workers/crews will continue to work Monday-Friday, with on-call staff available for emergencies.
