There’s still time to showcase what makes your company an innovative leader at this year’s Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year awards. Slated for Wednesday, Nov. 6 from 11am-1pm at the Best Western PLUS Gateway Grand, companies can showcase themselves as an applicant for an award, nominate another company for an award, or support the ceremony through exclusive sponsorships. Applications are due Friday, Oct. 11 by 4pm and reserved table sponsorships are available until Oct. 25. Email Frank Avery at [email protected] for questions or to purchase yours.
This year, the chamber is celebrating “Innovation that Inspires.” The luncheon will celebrate those companies that have embraced change, taken a risk, and launched a new direction, establishing their company, and the Gainesville region as a whole, as an international hub for innovation, talent, and opportunity.
Applicants are encouraged to create a video of any quality (as long as it has clear audio and is an acceptable resolution) that addresses what makes their company “innovative,” and how they’ve acted on that innovative mentality to create a competitive advantage locally, in their industry, or for the Gainesville region as a whole. All Chamber member companies are encouraged to apply, or nominate a company, for one or more of the awards’ listed at GainesvilleChamber.com/BOTY2013. Video applicants can submit one video (under 10 minutes) that answers questions for as many categories as they would like to apply to.

Tickets and table sponsorships are available online now for those interested in attending. The event has grown and sold-out in previous years, so we encourage you to secure tickets by Oct. 18 to guarantee your seat.
