Butler Enterprises has announced that the popular women’s retailer, Athleta, is coming to Butler Town Center.
Athleta offers versatile premium performance apparel designed by women athletes to inspire a community of active, confident women and girls. Founded in 1998, Athleta integrates performance and technical features across its collection – from running and cycling to swimming and yoga. Athleta is based in San Francisco, CA, and is a Gap Inc. brand.
Athleta’s Power of She campaign and brand experience celebrate inclusivity and the strength that comes from women and girls uplifting one another. Through the Gap Inc. PACE program and Fair Trade U.S.A., Athleta supports programs directly impacting the lives of majority-female workers creating its apparel. Additionally, 40% of Athleta apparel is made of recycled and sustainable materials.
In keeping with its mission to empower women and girls, Athleta’s stores typically offer free fitness and wellness events throughout the year.
The new Athleta location will be 2850 SW 35th Drive, Suite 10, Gainesville, FL, across from The Cheesecake Factory and next to Anthropologie. The store aims to open in mid-November.
