2022 Alachua County Heart Walk this weekend

The 2022 Alachua County Heart Walk is set for this Saturday, at the Santa Fe Community College campus from 8am to noon.

Heart Walk unites employees and community members in celebrating health and honoring survivors. Through this signature experience, we move, have fun, and raise lifesaving funds. Daurine Wehbe with Coldwell Banker MM Parrish and Christina Ramos with Touching Hearts at Home will be the co-chairs for this event and are excited to get everyone in the community out and moving!

Join your friends and neighbors and be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.

Physical and emotional health have never been more important than they are now! And joining your Alachua County Heart Walk is a great way to boost them both – all while making a huge impact in your community and saving lives.

By participating in the Alachua County Heart Walk, you will reap lasting benefits for yourself and help others.

  • Save the lives of kids born with congenital heart defects and adults struggling with heart disease
  • Teach thousands how to save lives through CPR training
  • Fund the next heart and stroke medical breakthrough
  • Become a champion for health and well-being, and ensure everyone has access to quality healthcare

Money raised by Heart Walk participants help the Gainesville community through professional training, community education, and research funding. Over the past decade the American Heart Association has given almost $11 million in research dollars to Alachua County.
