Zoës Kitchen Dishes Up Mediterranean Cuisine with Southern Flare

Craving some Mediterranean food but served with Southern hospitality?  Zoës Kitchen, a Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant with Southern charm, will be opening its doors on Archer Road on Jan. 9, 2014. It will become the third tenant to join the redevelopment site along with Pink Narcissus and Yogurtology. Best known for their homemade Mediterranean options including salads, pitas, sandwiches, no-mayo slaw, and braised white beans with fresh rosemary, they also offer gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. It is the first location to open in Gainesville and the fifth to open in Florida.

“We are excited to welcome this Mediterranean restaurant option at Butler Plaza offering fresh and healthy food,” said Kathy Ward- Darin, Director of Leasing for Butler Enterprises. “We can’t wait for their famous chicken salad.”

Zoës will also feature catering, party trays, box lunches and take home tubs. Guests will also be able to order “Dinner for Four,” which provides families and friends with an easy to-go menu solution.

“We are thrilled about our Florida expansion into Gainesville, and can’t wait to share our homemade Mediterranean recipes with this community,” said Addam Hamilton, regional operator of Zoës Kitchen in Gainesville. “From the start, it’s been our mission to deliver fresh, authentic dishes and share our Southern hospitality with each guest every day.”
