Gainesville’s local station, TV-20, developed a creative way to cover a hot topic while skirting around broadcast restrictions. These restrictions prevent the station from airing highlight reels until the day after the big game. So instead, the staff of TV-20 recreated the biggest plays of the game to anchorman Zach Aldridge’s commentary. Hundreds of thousands of people tuned into the Gator Nation’s ABC-affiliate station because of humor that is timely, relevant and entertaining.
