New Butler Plaza building to include a drive-thru Starbucks

Butler Plaza will soon be the new home for Starbucks with a drive-thru. The coffeehouse will open in a new building located at 3524 SW Archer Road. Butler Plaza anticipates the Starbucks location to open in late May.

Starbucks will be joining Which Wich and Gigi’s Cupcakes, who are currently opened; as well as BurgerFi, scheduled to open late February.

According to the Starbucks company profile, “Our stores are a neighborhood gathering place for meeting friends and family. Our customers enjoy quality service, an inviting atmosphere and an exceptional cup of coffee.”

“We had the advantage of being able to offer Starbucks a location that would accommodate a drive thru in our new building. Our customers can look forward to a great meeting place. They are an ideal addition to the shopping center that compliments any shopping trip,” said Kathy Ward-Darin, Director of Leasing for Butler Enterprises.

Starbucks started in Seattle in 1971 with Seattle’s Pike Place. The Starbucks website reports that as of July 2012, there were 17,651 locations in 60 countries.
