New Barre Fitness Studio Opens in Magnolia Parke

Colorado based Barre Forte fitness studios has opened it’s first Alachua County location at 4994 NW 39th Avenue in Magnolia Parke.  A Barre is the handrail that is familiar to all ballet dance studio. Many of the classes are dance centered with a ballet influence.

After completing Barre Forte’s nationally recognized teacher certification program, local resident and long-time health enthusiast Brinn Strange decided to open up a studio of her own through Barre Forte’s licensing model. For Strange, the opportunity to teach barre in Gainesville is a dream come true. She has been teaching a variety of group fitness formats for the past seven years.

“I have been taking group fitness classes since I was allowed to walk through the doors,” said Strange. “I have always enjoyed the community of group classes combined with the motivation of inspiring instructors and high-energy music, and that is exactly what I am committed to offering each participant that comes to Barre Forte.”

In addition to daily barre classes, Barre Forte offers Les Mills BodyFlow classes, which provide clients with extra stretching and core strengthening. Barre Forte also offers personal training through recent University of Florida graduate, Bianca Macias, a PTA Global Certified Personal Trainer and American Council on Exercise Certified Group Fitness Instructor.

Participants can purchase packages or attend individual classes at a drop in rate.
