“For many of us, Meridian included, business is about building and maintaining strong relationships,” said Kevin Coulson, Director of Marketing & Business Development at Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. and Chamber Diplomat. “Chamber After Hours is the place to do just that. It’s one of the best networking opportunities in town. But not only that, they’re a ton of fun. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on the 28th.”

For this month’s Chamber After Hours, Plum Creek, a timber manufacturing company in Gainesville, will be hosting the event. Recently, Plum Creek has acquired local media attention about the Envision Alachua Phase II Community Workshop, a community planning process that discusses the future economic and conservation opportunities on the 65,000 acres of land owned by Plum Creek.

Additionally, the event is perfect for businesses that are new to the Chamber and are seeking ways to become more involved in the community. To ease networking jitters, Chamber diplomats will be scattered across the room to introduce professionals to other businesses and to provide information on tools the Chamber has to offer each company.

Unable to attend the first Chamber After Hours event? The Chamber will also be hosting an After Hours on March 13 at the Gainesville Raceway, on April 18 at Gainesville Buick GMC and on June 27 at North Florida Regional Medical Center.
