Dennis Sherer, Blaze Managing Partner in North Central Florida, was more than happy with the company’s super successful introduction to the Gainesville market. “We were ecstatic to see so many people come out and celebrate our grand opening at our Free Pizza Day on January 9,” said Sherer.

“Not only did we get to meet so many members of the Gainesville community, but it was the perfect way to introduce our brand and our staff to the folks in the area. Blaze is so excited to be in Gainesville and to offer the fastest and freshest pizza in the area,” Sherer added.

Long LineLiterally hundreds of pizza fans stood in long, winding lines from late morning until nearly 11 pm for a taste of the fast-fire’d delights. By the time it was all over, nearly 1400 pizza’s were given away by Blaze Pizza Gainesville. Free Pizza Day was definitely a success.

Their next event is scheduled for March 14 (3.14.15). As a celebration of “Pi Day” pizzas will be priced at only $3.14, which is 60% off the usual price of $7.85 per pizza.

Blaze Pizza plans to expand in and around the Gainesville area, and is currently scoping out real estate options for those exact locations.
